Sometime between 8:00 and 10:00, Charles Lindbergh Jr, was taken from his nursery on the second floor. A ransom note was found in the baby's empty room.

The second ransom note was found by John Condon

John Condon published a newspaper that helped get in contact with the kidnappers

Dr.Condon received a seventh ransom note from the kidnappers

Another ransom note, the eighth one, was received by Condon

Betty Gow, the child’s nurse, found the infants thumb guard

The kidnappers increased the money demanded to $100,000 and to have the money ready for the following night

May 12, 1932

William Allen, a truck driver, found body parts of the baby on the side of the highway partly buried in the ground

May 13, 1932

Investigators found out that the baby had been dead two months prior before by a blow to the head

The kidnapper, Richard Hauptmann, was finally found and arrested
