The family's defender, Cordon, meets up with the kidnapper, not realizing that it was the actual kidnapper that he was meeting with. -

Cordon agrees to pay the kidnapper $50,000, but the child is still nowhere to be found. -
The Findings
The remains of the baby are found near the Lindbergh home, the family is devastated. -
The Arrest
A man by the name of Bruno Richard Hauptmann is arrested for the kidnapping and murder of Charles Lindbergh Jr. -
The Execution
Hauptmann is sentenced to death in the electric chair. The case is finally closed.
