The First World War ended on November 11, 1918 when Germany and its allies signed an armistice (a peace treaty) and troops stopped fighting. The end of World War I had a significant impact on World War II & The Holocaust because it left Germany in a vulnerable position in the world. After losing World War I, the Germans were looking for a leader to bring them back to wealth & power. Also, they were looking for a group of people to blame for their loss. They would find that leader in Hitler.
