George W. Bush and the Mission to Mars
George W. Bush ahd announced that there will baby steps to get to Mars, and eventually there will be people landing on the planet.

An Exploration Department
Nasa had created the HEO, so now there are two directoriates combined. Those being the operations skills directoriate and the human explorations directoriate.

A New Saturn V?
In September of 2011 NASA announced that they were making a new 320 foot long rocket called the Space launch system or SLS. NASA plans to actually launch the rocket for the first time in 2017.
