Fire & Water International Church began in the summer of 1994 as a Bible study comprised of a group of believers gathered together to seek God’s will and His purpose in their own lives. These humble beginngins were held right in the living room of Pastor Gus' parents, Frank & Bessie.

Fire & Water Ministries is founded under the prayerful guideance of Gus Korkotselos, Robert Contreras, & Fotios Nikolopoulos.

The very first FWIC Ministry Outreach took place towards the end 1995 in Bellflower, California.

The Bible Studies began to grow and get too large to be held in any house living room so for this reason FWIC moved to meeting wherever possible. The first official meeting not held in a living room was at the Best Western Suites on 16th & Northern in Phoenix, AZ.

Early in 1996 Pastor Gus & Pastor Robert were interviewed on TBN to share their stories as well as what God has been doing within the Minsitry.

FWIC took to the streets of the loal communitry and continued to reach out and minster when ever and wherever possible.

In the early beginnings of the ministry

Gus, Robert & Frank were ordained by Pastor Ernest Panos here in Phoenix, Arizona.

Affectionately referred to as "The School Days" Fire & Water moved from meeting at hotel conference rooms to school gynasiums and auditoriums. We spent approximately two years meeting at Rose Lane Elementary School in Phoenix.

Pastor Gus & Pastor Robert embark on thir first International Missions Trip and visit Indoesia.

Pastor Gus, Pastor Robert & Pastor Frank are asked to bring the Gospel to Greece.

In 2002 the porperty located on Osborn was purchased. Which at the time was a single-family residence which required a lot renovation and red-tape before it could actualy be used as a location to hold services. This proces took a around an entire year before this property was ready to hold meetings.

In January of 2003, after a lot of work and red-tape, FWIC had our first service at the Osborn locaiton in centeral Phoenix.

After FWIC began meeting at the Osborn locaiton the team immediately began reaching out the local community. This was an outreach held at an apartment complex near the Osborn location.

The Pastors and Team travel to India sharing the Gospel and seeing lives changed.

A call to reach people through the televsion airewaves was answered. Pastor Gus begins taping and hand-delivering tapes to local Phoenix Public Access channels. The First television broadcasts aried from Fire & Water took place in the Summer of 2005.

In 2005 FWIC began reaching out to the men & women incarcerated within the prison system. Starting with just 5 inmates this ministry has grown to well over 300 inmates who receive recorded sermons and literature from our faithful Prison Ministry Staff.

Midway through 2006 the Diamond Campus was acquired and renovations to preprare the property for services was underway.

(No longer just a Bible Study FWIC grows and becomes a community church). This was the inaugural service at the newest location on Diamond Street in downtown Phoenix, AZ. Coming from the location on Osborn this newest endevor a nearly 1 million dollar undertaking was once again a test of faith and trust in God.

"There Is An Answer" hosted by Pastor Gus Korkotselos first aired locally in Arizona in 2007.

In 2007 FWIC was given our very first official bus! This vehilce was used to carry on the tradition of going to pick-up those that want to attend the sevice but for whatever reason need a ride.

The Labor Day Weekend Conference has historically been held at local convention centers here in the greater Phoenix Area. This event takes place not annually but at the Senior Pastoral Staff is release to do so. This was our Labor Day Conference from 2008 at the Crowne Plaza in Phoenix. What an awesome move of God this weekend and what a joy to see what God did.

Grammy nominated & international recording artist & evangelist, Carmen, makes a stop in Phoenix and visits Fire & Water for night of music and ministry.

FWIC takes the opportunity to pour into the local community by giving away over 200 bikes to the local boys & girls. This outreach was one of the biggest successes today here at FWIC.

A significant milestone was reached in April of 2009. The most-recently acquired Diamond Location, a nearly 1 million-dollar project, was paid off and FWIC became a debt-free Church! There is no doubt that God's hand was and is still upon this vision!

On June 26th 2009 the Fire & Water Media Team launches our YouTube channel in hopes to reach millions with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In efforts to help the local community with the expenses of the "Back-to-school" season FWIC decides to step in and make a difference. Over 300 backpacks filled with school supplies were given away to local families during this outreach.

Fire & Water enters the world of social media with only one goal in mind to reach more with the Gospel.

The Labor Day Conference was back on for 2010 and held once again at the Crowne Plaza in Phoenix. FWIC hosted the weekend with special guests, "Royalty", Pastor Todd Machete & world-renowned singer songwritter David Meece.

On March 31st, 2012 Fire & Water International Church reaches an epic milestone. FWIC has officially reached over 20,000 total views at our YouTube Channel which was initialized on June 26, 2009. In less than three years of its inception the FWIC YouTube Channel has reached a confirmed 101 of 196 countries WORLDWIDE. Together we are making a difference and impacting lives for the glory of Jesus Christ.
