Back in the days cars as we call them used to be referred to as automobile. The history of automobile dates all the way back to the 15th centruary. It can be defined as a vehicular machine which transpots people from one location to another with the help of its wheels which can be found under it. The invention of cars did not happen in just a day. As the world was evolving, so was the evolution of automobile. The history of automoblie invention can be placed into different categories.

First Automobile

Oct 1, 1768

The First ever automobile to be introduced to the world was the cugnot steam trolley. It was introuced in the year 1768 as the first ever automobile capable of transporting human. It was invented by Nicolas-joseph cugnot. It had 3 wheels under it and ran at 2.5mph. The invention of the cugnot steam trolley was a basis which helped in the invention of more automobiles. A few more automobiles like the cugnot second version which was an upgrade of the first one, and also the Benz patent-wagen.

Progression of automobile

After the first automobile was introduced, new ideas and inventions were introduced and this hastened the progression of automobile in the world. The electric carriage invented by Robert anderson was introduced as this seemed like an upgrade to the previous automobile inventions. Then the first true automobile was invented by Karl freidrich Benz which ran on an engine and gasoline. After then cars kept evolving by size, shape, mph, passangers per transport and many more.

Automobile Era's

After the invention of the first automobile qhich was the cugnot steam trolley came different eras of automobile inventions. The veteran era which featured different 4 wheeled automobiles which could run at a speed of 45 Kilometres per hour and higher. Example of an automibile built during this era is the prasident automobile.

Automobile eveloution

In this era more advanced automobile were being invented. They consisted of more advanced features and parts. Karl benz was one of the first ever inventors to build a four-wheeled car which ran on petrol. In this era the use of automobiles became more common as there was a fair amount of cars about. Advanced technology like Air bags which provide safety were included to these cars.

Modern cars

This is when the automoblies fully eveloved and most of the population owned cars. Mobile technologies were being added to cars to make them smareter. Also parts and characteristics changed so much compared to older cars. A typical example is the use of buttons to wind up/down glasses when it used to be done manually by roll ups. In this era you could hardly find 3 wheeled automobiles or vehicles that run on steam. Vintage cars like that were out of existence and were auctioned for a money.

Sports Cars

Sports cars changed the whole concept of cars. Cars were invented as a means of transport but sports cars were purposely built for sports. They were mainly built to ran at a very quick speed. They are capable of running at apeed of over 250 MPH and compared to normal cars that is pretty quick.
