In about the 15th Century (we aren't exactly sure when) ballet was created. It was created with more than one person though. The French and Russian made ballet what it is today. Ballet evolved in France and Russiua soon ballet was brought over to America by a man named George Balanchine. Hundrends of years before the Nutcraker and Sleeping Bueaty ballet were choreographed and composed the roots of ballet were planted in Italy.

The first dance academy was opened up in Paris France in 1661.Once the academy began ballet became more profession, serious, disciplined, and artisticly techniqued.

In 1892 a French dancer and choerographer Marius Petipa, found out about the Nutcraker. He asked Peter Tchaikousky to write music for it. Petipa's assistant Leu Lanov created the choreography. The production first came to life on stage in 1892 in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Nutcraker is still a very famous ballet.

Joffrey ballet is one of the American dance companies. It was foundend in 1953 by dancer/choreographer Robert Joffrey. The Joffrey ballet company is very popular. Joffrey is extreamley hard to get into.

We now currently have a lot of ballet studios around the world. They still do older ballets like the Nutcraker. Ballet has way more technique than it used to. Because ballet is morer technnical it is more beautiful.

We think that Ballet dancers will be able to dance on the moon/space. And that if you would like to do a ballet move, you can do it as long as you'd like because of a chip in your mind. Hopefully our prediction will eventually happen.
