    The Scottsboro case was a case against 9 young black men who were falsely accused of raping two white woman on train. Deputies were able to pressure the two woman into accusing the nine men.
  • Reconstruction Finance Corporation

    agency provided emergency relief to large business. Also insurance companies and banks. Financial support to state and local government. Made loans.
  • Bonus March

    A group of 43,000 demonstrators made up of 17,000 U.S. WW1 veterans. The veterans had their families gather in D.C. to demand cash redemption of their service certificates.
