    Successful orbital test of the Titan-II launch vehicle, spacecraft structural integrity and launch vehicle spacecraft compatibility. Unmanned, no plan to recover. Mission terminated after 3 orbits and spacecraft disintegrated 3.5 days after launch. All primary and secondary objectives achieved.

    Gemini-VIII successfully docked with Gemini Agena target vehicle GATV-6 hours 34 min after liftoff. Because of problems with the spacecraft control system, the crew was forced to undock after approximately 30 min.he crew regained control of their spacecraft and it promptly landed in a secondary landing area in the Pacific.It was a manned job and Neil A. Armstrong and David R. Scott were on board.
