    The Battle of Jenkin's Ear
    The battle of Jenkins Ear was an excuse for the English and Spainish to go to war.The English & Spanish were fighting about land in the colonies already. Then Robert Jenkin was a Englishmen who was punished by his actions by getting his ear cut off. That was the last the last straw. This was it, the final thing that set the Spainish off. They declared war on each other, now known as the battle of Jenkins Ear.

    Fort Duquesne was a french fort. General Edward Braddock died at there. Braddock was a formal Europian general who reffused to fight like the Indians- ambushing in the woods-. He would only fight in an orderly line in formation. This got him killed. At this battle the English had more but fighting in formation causd them to loose to the French that had less men. But ambushed them in the woods like Indians

    Gorge Washingtons bulit Fort Necessity at the bottom of a hill out of sicks and wood. The night before the attack- of the French- it rained, and flooded the fort. All Washington's gun powder was usless. Gorge Washinton's men were deffensless. Aftert the French attacked Gorge & his men, Gorge surrendered. Gorge & his men were premmitted to travel safley back to VA. Under the terms of surrender, Gorge swore not to build another fort west of the App. Mts. This was first uniffical battle of the war.

    Ben Franklin suggested the Albany plan of Congress. His motto was "Join or Die". This plan failed. However the Irquois tibe got mad at Brittan and threatened to trade with the French.
  • William Pitt becomes Foriegn Minster

    William Pitt becomes Foriegn Minster
    WIlliam Pitt became Foreign Minister in 1757. He understood the colocnist in ways of generals and people in power didn't. Pitt showed them respect. He also made them a comprimise. He offered them-colonist- he would pay for there supplies for them if they would fight. This iincreased the numbers in soldiers fighting and the colonial morale.

    French and Indians and the English all found allies. Prsotecting and working together. The Indians kidknapped the colonist and would scalp some of them. ANd for the rest of them they wouod tak eand make them fight with them by threating them.

    Fort Louisbourg was a fort that was in Canada- owned by the French. This fort protected the French,fort , and people with a barrier inclosing the fort. This barrier also protected the French for the ocean seas and the major city Quebec!

    The English rook over this fort. Even from its protective barrier. The English controled the water ways; wich back then meant A LOT of power! Controling ships, forts, and everybody who passed by... the English controled everbody, taking over the French beloved city- Quebec.

    The treaty of Paris ended the war. It was what evryone got- there land. The French surrendered to the English. The English got ALL of France's land: all of canada besides Quebec, Florida, some colonies, and exclusive commercial domminance with India, and the Carribean slave trade. The Spanish got land west of the Miss. River. Indians and France nothing, land that got settlers moved on to.

    Pontiac's Rebellion
    Tribe that rebells and fights/ ambushes Brittan. Pontiacs rebells because the English gieves "gifts" to the Indians infected will small poxs for Pitt. The Indians didn't have medichine to make them feel better. They were also not immune to this disease. Lots of them died wich led to Pontiac's rebellion.
