The Foundry is formed, set up by Beguilement and Prof Danger. The endeavour is funded by private investors, including Candace Thompson and becomes a registered charity.

Since its formation The Foundry has helped a lot of people. Most notably was a group of teenagers and young adults who all gained control of their abilities at similar times. This group banded together under with The Foundry's support and formed their own superteam 'The All-Stars' and began work on their base, 'The Forge'
