    Eadweard Muybridge was a photographer who on this day successfully photographed a horse named "Sallie Gardner" in fast motion using a series of 24 stereoscopic cameras. That was the beginning of moviing picture. Without moving picture there would never have been sound films or even movies.The experiment took place on June 11 at the Palo Alto farm in California with the press present. The cause of all things with films in the future can be traced back to this.

    Probably the most famous director, Alfred Hitchcock, said this soon after the rise of popularity in sound films. As the quote clearly states Alfred preffered silent films more than sound ones. But due to the audience's preference Hitchcock made the film Blackmail (1929). This is not just him, but through many people eyes, because they were all quite loyal to silent films.

    I went to the theatre on that tuesday and not a suprise, there were no silent films. This is the change in filmatography, no more stringy film grains. No more having to stay within microphone range. Video quality and sound quality was increased massively and there is barely a need to worry about microphone range now, with hidden mics that can placed anywhere. This made cinema much more enjoyable like sound did to the silence
