Eleven ships under the command of Captain Arthur Phillip leave Portsmouth, England on Sunday the 13th of May, 1787. Aboard these boats are 750 convicts, bound for Botrany Bay.

Three days after the ships leave Portsmouth, they have their last view of England on the 16th of May, before they set sail for roughly eight months.

The fleet arrives in Santa Cruz three weeks after leaving England. Whilst there they dock in Tenerife and take on fresh water and vegetables.

After seven days of being docked in Santa Cruz, the ships leave to continue their journey.

The fleet passes Cape Verde Islands but is unable to land.

After two months of travelling, the fleet crosses the equator.

The fleet reaches the islands that mark the entrance to their next dock, Rio De Janeiro.

The fleet docks at Rio De Janeiro, to undergoe repairs and take on fresh water and vegetables.

Just under a month after docking in Rio De Janeiro, the fleet leaves to continue.

After five months into their journey, the ships first sight the Cape of Good Hope.

A day after being sighted, the fleet docks at Cape Trown to take on fresh supplies and livestock.

After just under a month, the fleet departs once again.

The HMS Supply and three other ships in the fleet sail on ahead and become an advanced party.

The fleet first sights Vadn Diemen's Land just after the new year.

The HMS Supply and the other ships that traveled ahead, arive at Botany Bay on the 18th of January.

Almost two months after, the rest of the fleet is now in Botany Bay.

There is no fresh water near the bay they've docked in, and so Captain Aurhur Phillip and Captain Hunter search north for a more suitable settlement.

The entire fleet anchors in Port Jackson, where Captain Phillip goes ahead, and raises the flag.
