    Westward Expansion

    The conquest of the Westward Expension began at the beginning of the 19s. After gainig their independence the American settlers tried to reach the Pacific Ocean. The immense territories beyond the eastern seaboard alloowed the settlement of millions of European immigrants in search of a better life. But in order for this to happen, the white settlers would expel, deport and massacre the natives.
