    At around 2am, the fire begins in a bakery warehouse on Pudding Lane. This bakery was filled with flammable, dangerous materials.

    Day Two
    On the second day, militia arrive to keep crowds in order. The King's only contributions at this point are encouraging other civilians as they pull down houses and try to quell the flames.
  • Day Three

    Day Three
    On the third day, the fire has spread even further, and as the flames engulf most of the city, documents, books, and valuables are hurridly put in to safekeeping. By the end of the day, St. Paul's Cathedral which is on the opposite sie of the city, catches fire.

    The fire continues to sweep through London. King Charles II calls an order for food to be brought in every day for the homeless and the displaced citizens.
  • Day Five

    Day Five
    The last outbreak of the fire is seen in a small, isolated fire in Bishopsgate. King Charles II addresses the public on this day, assuring them that the fire was indeed an accident. Militia from Kent, Middlesex, Surrey, and Hertford are called in to help with relief efforts.
