    Only about 4 years after the first mouse was made, came the mouse with a ball to track the movement of the mouse. Bill English was a partner of Douglas and he made the "Ball Mouse". Although it was a very good idea, it did not go far due to the dust and dirt the ball would pick up when on a desk. Causing the mouse not to function properly.

    After the first mouse was created and published to the public, Steve Jobs thought he would be able to make a new and better mouse of his own. He worked long and hard and finally came out with the "Lisa mouse". This mouse would be capable of working with the "Lisa Computer", also made by Steve Jobs. He named it after his daughter, but the price tag was a little too much for the public at the time. $9,995 (about $23,700 in today's dollars).
