    Burke was born in Gallatin in 1867. Burke was alive for 93 years. Burke grew corn, alfalfa, grapes and wine.

    The eternal flame monument was created to honor “all veterans past and present.” It is located in Pico Rivera, right across from Smith Park. A ceremony is held every year on memorial day.
