In 450 CE, the Celts are being invaded by numerous barabric tribes like the the Angles, Saxons, and other Germainc tribes. These tribes invaded southern England and the Celts were forced west wards into what is called today as Wales.

The first Celtic manuscript call the Book of Durrow was written and spread out throughout Ireland.

In 780 CE, the Anglo Saxons (e.g. The English) rename the Celts as Welsh people. The reason being was becasue the Celts at that time lived in the region called Wales which was where most of the foreigners lived. The word "welsh" also meant "foreigner."

In 380 CE, the Romans legions that were stationed in Britian were ordered out of Britian. This posed a weakness for the Cedlts becasue they have been now accustomed to the safety and security of the Roman legions.
