    The Boston Massacre was a violent riot that led to soldiers shooting colonists. Because the colonists were tired of the taxes they threw snowballs, stones, and ice at the king's house, overpowering the soldiers, so the soldiers started shooting them. After the Massacre, the colonists were fed up and desired American Independence. The colonist started the riot because they didn't like all the soldiers being there, they didn't like the tax collector, jobs were being taken away..
  • Tea Act

    The Tea Act allowed ships to go directly to the colonies without stopping in England to sell tea to the colonists. This caused the Boston Tea Party, where the colonists boarded East India Company ships and dumped 342 chests of tea into the Britsh Harbor.

    The Boston tea party was a protest against the tea act. They threw tea into the harbor.

    The Intolerable Acts were made just to punish the colonist for the Boston Tea Party. Because of the Intolerable Acts the colonies united and decided to protect their freedoms. They started stocking up on weapons just in case of war.

    The Boston tea port act was apart of the intolerable acts. This act closed the Boston port. The British Parliament also demanded the residents of Boston to pay for all the tea they threw in the Harbor.

    The Administration of Justice Act made sure that the British officials who were charged with capital offenses while enforcing the law had a fair trial.

    The Massachusetts Government Act ordered that all colonial officials to be appointed and paid by the Crown. They weren't allowed to have democracy.

    The Quartering Act required colonists to let the soldiers stay in their private homes.

    The Quebec Act put a permanent administration in Canada.
