The books are being burned because the Germans want to be the powerhouse. They don't want anyone else to be above them so they burned the books. They were unGerman ideas as well. People died and were burned in Berlin. This is where the books were burned as well. -
Nuremberg Race Laws
The purpose was to deprive the German jews of their rights of citizenship, he gave up his subjects. It made jews forbidden to have any sexual relationships with Aryans or to employ Aryan women. -
Kristallnacht
Kristallnacht happened on November 9, 1938 and it was a massive coordinated attack on jews. -
Ghettos
Germans put Jews in these. The living conditions were terrible, and they were isolated from everyone else. There are 3 different ghettos, closed Ghettos, Open Ghettos and Destruction Ghettos. -
Jesse Owens
4 facts about Jesse Owens are that he set highschool records for the 100 meter and 200 meter dash. He was awarded the Presidential medal of freedom by Gerald Ford. Finally, he was awarded the Congressional gold medal in 1990 by George Bush. He also won 4 gold medals at the Olympics.
