France ceded all mainland North American territories, except New Orleans, in order to retain her Caribbean sugar islands. During the Revolutionary War, one of the most key events that happened was the Battle of Saratoga. In the battle of saratoga, they fought 18 days apart of the fall of 1777. The two battles of Saratoga was the turning point in the American Revolution.
