    ●The WalkMan was built In 1980 by Nobutoshi Kihara for Sony co-chairman.( Masaru ibuka).
    ● Masaru Ibuka wanted an technology where he was able to listen to Operas during his frequent trans-pacific plane trips.
    ● An new Walkman was created on February 29,2012 but people had issues with the new device because it turns off when it wants too and , it didnt save any files or songs. But no lawsuit was filed against this new device.
  • The Space Shuttle

    ●The first Space Shuttle launch was the Columbia on April 12, 1981. The mission lasted a little more than two days. The Columbia returned home safely and gave NASA valuable information about the design of the shuttle.
    ● We now look at this space shuttle as a piece of history and achievement.

    ● In 1982 there were compact-disc invented for those to play sound recordings only, but later adapted for storage of data.
    ● This product was developed by Phillips, Sony to give the 80's and the future audio and data storage.
    ●Companies like Sony and Philips swooped in to create an alternative: the compact disc.
    In the early to mid 1980s, engineers wrote a series of books that set out the standards for the compact-disc format.

    ●Manufactured by Motorala , inc Dyntac 8000x was the first portable cellular phone for consumer use.
    ● It was priced at $3,995 in 1983 and still till this day, which makes todays world say ''makes th e iphones look cheap.
    ● The problem with this phone is that it costs to much money and not alot of people can purchase this hand held mobile device.

    In 1984, Apple launched the Macintosh computer. It was the first personal computer to feature a graphics-based user interface. Other computers required users to type in commands to launch applications. The Macintosh used icons to represent programs and a strange device called a mouse.
