Hubble Space Telescope Launched
On April 24th, 1990, NASA launched the Hubble Space Telescope from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This telescope made very significant discoveries of space.
Astronomers using this telescope have published more than 14,000 scientific papers, making it the most productive scientific instrument ever built.
The Hubble Space Telescope gave people a new way of thinking of space as a frontier and new possibilities.
I want to attend this event so I can experience a historical event. -
Pathfinder Images
The Pathfinder was a rover for NASA to take images of Mars. It launched on December 4, 1996, and landed on Mars on July 4, 1997.
These pictures helped space curiosity by showing how interesting Mars is and how much of space is still undiscovered.
The Pathfinder set a new standard for space exploration and discovery. Many other attempts to go to Mars have happened.
I would want to be at NASA controlling the rover because doing that would shape history by where I go and what I do with the rover.
