Richard Milhous Nixon was the 37th President of the United States, serving from 1969 to 1974. He seemed liken a great president but when he was in office he did exactly the opposite of what he said he would do, he said that he would end the vietnam war but he only extended it. Nixon resigned because he didn't want to go to jail for sending people to go to the democratic headquarters and finding out what they were going to do next but they were caught.
