    What Happened The Bristish expelled the Acadians from what is now called Nova Scotia. They did not trust them because of their French roots, The Acadians Dispersed all over the World. To Louisiana, the Carribean, and back to France. It was considered the first act of war in the 7 Years War. Effect This was considered to be the first act of the war. The French decided that they must retaliate against the British

The French held off the Brits for as long as they could hoping that if the seige lasted until late into the fall the British would be held off from moving up the St. Lawrence and attacking Quebec City. Effect The British took the Fort, but the French were successful in holding off the attack on Quebec City

    What Happened Montcalm realizes after losing Louisburg that he needs more troops. He sends an emmisary to France to ask for 4000 new troops. The Minister of Defence says " Why save the stable when the house is burning" and sends 400 soldiers. Effect This decision becomes crucial because the British decide if we can't beat them in Europe we can take their colonies!!! so they send 200 ships and 16000 soldiers!!!

    What Happened French try a sneak attack in the dark and launch burning boats hoping to set the British armada on fire. The fire boats miss their mark and the Bristish go from being terrified to cheering for joy! Effect After the boats missed the British they soldiers fell like they had luck and God on their side and that they would surely win the war.

    What Happened The British launch canon fire on the city for 2 months. They blow up or burn down almost the entire lower city. Effect All the people left in the city hide out with the Nun's and begin to starve. The French refuse to give in which means the British are forced to launh a ground offensive.

    What Happened Wolfe decides to attack the Beauport Shore even though his advisors say " Don't do it" The French are well prepared and they beat the British Badly Effect The French no longer fear the British. They feel like they will win no matter what.

Montcalm's troops do not wait for reinforcements, They attack, their attack disorganized, the Brits beat them badly, 5 days later and French give up and surrender. Effect The French Finally surrender
