1986 Improved Laptop
In 1986, IBM PCD announced its first laptop computer. This PC Convertible weighed only twelve pounds, which at the time was eighteen pounds lighter than the previous laptop. This has enhanced our lives, as it made computers significantly easier to transport and much more available in all places. -
1990: Office for Windows is Released
On November 19 of 1990, Microsoft released Office for Windows. As Windows is the most used operating system overall, this was a huge step for Microsoft and enhanced our lives by making this a stepping stone for future technology. The software has served as a blueprint for productivity software in workplaces, education, and personal use situations.
