Back in the old days, we listened to music on a stereo. You could listen to the radio or play a vinyl record on a record player.
-
Before cassette tapes, there were 8 track tapes. A bulkier more archaic form of the soon to come cassette tape.
-
The cassette tape shows up at our house. My mom would record her vinyl records on to cassette tapes so she wouldn't "wear out" her vinyl.
-
I got my own portable stereo. Termed a "ghetto blaster" you could record tape to tape for your mix tapes OR record your favorite song off the radio so you could listen to it for HOURS.
-
Portable music with you wherever you go! Who knew? Technology is amazing!
-
My mom saved her money up and bought a CD/cassette Player at "Price Club". The first CD she bought was Tracy Chapman's Fast Car. We listened to that CD A LOT!
-
No more cassette tapes. Strictly CD's to listen to music. A big space saver!
-
Ok, so I don't need to go to the music store? I can download music right to my computer and burn CD's?!?! Amazing!
-
It's amazing how I can fit all my music digitally on to this tiny little gadget and carry it in my pocket. Music LITERALLY at your fingertips!
-
This thin gadget can surf the internet, give me directions, keep my calendar, remind me to do things, call people, but why would you call when you can text? AND play music. You don't necessarily have to download music to it, but stream music to your device. I don't really have to touch the device, I can tell some lady named Siri to do it for me.
