Sony Playstation
The Sony Playstation make big waves in the video game ecosystem. Primarily designed by Ken Kutaragi, the Playstation saw some serious competition from the Nintendo 64, which came out only two years later. Even still, the Playstation did arguably better in terms of sales, and both systems are hailed as being among the greatest, and most revolutionary consoles of all time. -
The DVD
The DVD (Digital Video Disc / Digital Versatile Disc) changed the way that video was distributed. Effectively replacing VHS, DVDs are still used to this day as a fairly common method of video storage, though they are slowly but surely fading out as technology continues to advance even further.
