    USB flash drives became popular over time and replaced floppy drives and optical discs since the flash drive was smaller in size. Although when it was first released USBs had a small capacity, that changed over time and are now one of the most popular ways to store information.
  • iPods

    iPods had 5GB of storage, a two-inch black-and-white screen, and a mechanical scroll wheel surrounded by four buttons. iPods could hold more material than the average MP3 players as well. The iPod paved the way for more apple products like iPads and iPhones.
  • Bluetooth Headset

    Bluetooth headsets allowed for many things to exist today. Bluetooth headsets were one of the first things to be able to work using Bluetooth, a low-power, short-range wireless technology. Nowadays, Bluetooth is in everything from wireless keyboards to garage door openers.
  • Blackberry Phones

    Blackberry phones were very popular because it allowed people to be able to use their emails from their phone, manage their calendar, call, text and more. Blackberry phones had a high security system and were the first to bring many different things into one small portable phone.
  • Nintendo Wii

    Nintendo Wii popularized movement-based controllers for games. Nintendo Wii proved that there was a market for digital play. It became very popular for all ages and interests since a person did not have to be a hardcore gamer or a specific age to use it.
