    In Beverly Hills, Time Warner and Toshiba held a press conference to announce their version of the DVD for the first time in History. DVD's are important to me because they were a big improvment to VHS.

    The Global Positioning System became fully operational. Full Operational Capacity (FOC) was achieved with the placement and activation of the last of the 24 satellites. GPS is a great thing to have when you are driving.

    Tomislav Uzelac, created the AMP MP3 playback engine. The first MP3 player was invented just in time for the Napster revolution in the form of 1998's Winamp, widely regarded as the first MP3 player. I wouldn't make it a day without my ipod.

This is perfect for me and has made it easier for me to make cofee in the morning.

    Invented by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim out of a garage in Menlo Park. The site was created as a destination to watch and share original videos worldwide through the Web. Youtube is a way to get free music, watch movies, or just be entertained with millions of vedeos.

    Createdby Jack Dorsey and launched that July. The service has over 500 million active users as of 2012, generating over 340 million tweets daily and handling over 1.6 billion search queries per day. Since its launch, Twitter has become one of the top 10 most visited websites on the Internet. Twitter is a great way to tell people what is going on with your life or just keep busy reading.

    The Jeep Patriot was introduced by Chrysler as the most affordable SUV in the United States. This is my first car and I have found it very reliable.
