    Surrealism explored the unconsious world of dreams and used techniques such as doodling and chance paper falling to explore the irrational, unconsious mind. The Style sought to express a universal beauty in the harmonious balance of colors and shapes. The Bauhaus school combined art and architecture and emphasized the future and using current, industrial materials.
