    Super Mario Bros.
    This was the first game in the now-huge Super Mario Bros. series. It was released in North America and Japan at the same time, and Australia and Europe about two years later.

    The next game in the series was Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. It came out in Japan in 1986, but not in North America until 1993. Unlike the original game, it did not support multiplayer.

    Super Mario Maker is the first and so far the only Mario game with a level editor. You can make your own levels and share them with the world. It was released for the Wii U worldwide in September 2015, and later for the 3DS in December 2016
