In the 1992 World Rally season, Subaru and prodrive entered in 7 of the 14 WRC events. Drivers of these cars included greats such as Colin Mcrae, Ari Vatenen and Possum Bourne.

In 1993 Ari and Colin remained as the main drivers for Subaru. Now sporting the distinctive Blue and Yellow colours and the 555 express logo, the team managed some good results thorugh the year.
