    obtain CT scan to check for hemorrhage. Goal is door to CT 10 minutes

    Hemorrhagic Stroke

    If CT reveals Hemorrhagic stroke consult Neurosurgery. Patient will not be a candidate for TPA.
  • Neuro exam

    Neuro exam

    Allow Neurology resident to complete in depth stroke assessment
  • IV access

    IV access

    Obtain IV access right AC if you can
  • TPA

    TPA

    If CT negative for hemorrhage and in window prepare and administer TPA. Goal is door to TPA 30 minutes
  • Neuro exam

    Neuro exam

    To be completed Q15 for two hours, Q30 for 6 hours, Q1 for 16 hours.
