The experiment began and was conducted on basement of Jordan Hall which is the Standford's Univiersity Psychology Building. -

-Guards began to harass prisoners.

Cell 1 Prisoners Riot
-Prisoners in Cell 1 blockaded their cell door with their beds and took off their stocking caps, refusing to come out or follow the guards' instructions.
-Guards from other shift volunteered to work extra hours to help control the revolt.
-Attack the prisoners with fire extinguishers without the supervision of researchers. -
Guards Start To Use Psychological Tactics
-Guards use this tactics to control the prisoners after the riot.
-They set up "privilege cell" where prisoners who are not involved in the riot were rewarded,

-#8612 began to act crazy, to scream, to curse, to go into a rage that seemed out of control.

Hunger Strike
-Prisoner #416 went on a hunger strike as an act of rebellion.
-Guards were pissed with his action as he was a new-comer, one of the guards were angry as he disrupt the whole system.
-Prisoners #416 were put in "The Hole".
-Guards encouraged other prisoners to hit the door of "The Hole" to vent their frustrations on prisoner #416. -
Rumours
-Guards heard rumours that released prisoner are going to come back and released the remaining inmates.
-Zimbardo and guards disassembled the prision and moved to a different floor of the building.
-Zimbardo waited in basement in case the released prisoner showed up and tell him that the experiment is over.
-Prison rebuilt in the basement.
-Rumours are rumours, it end up to be false. -

-Christina Maslach questioned the morality of Zimbardo's experiment after seeing how the prisoners and guards behave and tell Zimbardo that the experiment had to stop because young boys are suffering.
