Stand in Front of Schoolhouse Doors
Governor Wallace had a speech on June 11 1963 about blocking all public school doors to all African Americans. He first blocked 2 students from entering the University of Alabama. After some time has passed President JFK disbanded the National Guard to stop blocking Alabama schoolhouse doors. Governor Wallace also made a speech when he was first elected as Governor, with a line of his speech saying “Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.”
