    Ed Pickett sells The Killington-Pico Paper to Andy Neisner, who later changed the name to The Mountain Times. Neisner also moved the offices to Route 4 in Killington. (Days are not accurate, just the year)

    Changing Ownership

    Somewhere between 1976 and 1986, Andy Neisner sells the Mountain Times to Fred and Olga Straka, who move the offices to the east by a block.
  • Changing ownership again

    Fred and Olga Straka sell The Mountain Times to Royal and Zip Barnard. The two eventually built offices on the Killington flats, while still remaining on Route 4. (Days are not accurate, just the year)
  • Sold once more

    Angelo Lynn buys The Mountain Times from Royal Barnard after being co-owner for 25 years.
  • Changes in the staff

    After Tropical Storm Irene destroyed part of the East Coast, Polly Lynn, editor and co-publisher along with Jason Mikula, ad manager and co-publisher take over operations at The Mountain Times.
  • Outer Limits Publishing is created

    Outer Limits Publishing, LLC is created and the registered agent is Angelo Lynn, who five days prior to Outer Limits Publishing being formed, Lynn purcahsed The Mountain Times.

    Outer Limits Publishing manufacture the daily newspaper for The Mountain Times, Central Vermont Getaways Magazine, The Menu Book, The Summer Guide, The Killington Map, The Rutland Map, hyper-local apps in Killington, Rutland, Ludlow and Woodstock, as well as websites moutaintimes.info and discoverkillington.com.

    Outer Limits Publishing Affiliates

    Outer Limits Publishing has a number of affiliates all around Vermont. There's The Addison Independent in Middlebury, The Reporter in Brandon, Vermont Ski & Ride Magazine, Vermont Sports Magazine, The Essex Reporter, The Colchester Sun, Milton Independent and St. Alban’s Messenger in addition to Freedom Publications, Route 802 and LocalvoreToday.
