  • Alpha Phi Data Match

    The proceeds from this event went to the Alpha Phi Foundation, which focuses on women's cardiac care and heart disease. Research of the diagnosis and treatment of women's heart disease is the primary interest of the foundation.
  • Alpha Chi Omega: Mr. Alpha Chi

    The women of Alpha Chi Omega put on a men's fashion show. Fraternity men pay to enter the contest and anyone from the community can come watch and bring a donation. Proceeds go to local domestic violence rescue centers.
  • Delta Gamma Anchorsplash

    Delta Gamma Anchorsplash
    The Delta Gamma chapter hosts 3 days of nautical competitions for the greek community. Events include relay races, the Mr. Anchor Splash contest, and synchronized swimming.     Kappa Alpha Theta & Phi Kappa Psi 3v3 Basketball Tournament
    Two chapters partner up to put on this event. Anyone in the community can make a team of three and play in a basketball tournament at the UI Fieldhouse.   • Pi Beta Phi: Pi Burger Phi

    Pi Beta Phi: Pi Burger Phi
    At the IMU on campus, the Pi Beta Phi chapter sold hamburgers and chips for $7.00 and raised over $1000. All proceeds went to First Book, an organization that provides children from low-income families the opportunity to read and own their first new books.   • Delta Delta Delta Day on the Diamond

    Groups from the Greek Community can donate and sign up in teams for a day of softball. Proceeds went to St. Jude's Hospital.
  • Alpha Epsilon Phi Jazz on the Rocks Silent Auction

    The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation was founded by Elizabeth Glaser in 1988. The goal of the organization is to educate people on the special issues concerning children with the AIDS virus.

    Sigma Nu: Kickball Tournament
    Proceeds go to The Holden Cancer Center. This is Iowa's only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center.   • Phi Delta Theta Tug Gest for ALS Tug-O-War Tournament

    Phi Delta Theta hosts an all day tug of war tournament for greek chapters and proceeds go to the ALS Association
  • Alpha Xi Delta: Puzzle Palooza

    In this event, teams are given a time limit and whoever puts the majority of a puzzle together in the time alotted, moves on to the next round. All proceeds from donations were given to the Autism Speaks Foundation. Since joining the foundation, Alpha Xi Delta's have raised over $30,000.

    4 Days of Events: stair painting at Sigma Chi, pizza and SlipnSlide, volleyball tournament, Derby shirts, and volleyball finals. Sorority women compete during a week of activities and can purchase food and Derby Days Gear at all of the events.     Members of the UI Phi Delta Theta Fraternity's Iowa Beta Chapter traded in their comfy footwear and slip into four-inch lipstick-red stiletto heels -- to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence and raise funds for the Rape Victim Advocacy Program.   • Chi Omega Golf Classic

    Members of the Greek Community and citizens of Iowa City form groups of five ($50 a group) and play in a golf tournament at Brown Deer Golf Club. All proceeds went to the Make a Wish Foundation
  • United Way All Greek 5K

    All greek chapters work together to put on a 5K to support United Way. Anyone can participate.
  • Pi Beta Phi Palooza

    Pi Beta Phi Palooza
    There are two events held at College Green Park: Pie a Pi Phi and Speed Read. Pie a Pi Phi gives members from other houses on campus a chance to donate money and pick a Pi Phi to pie in the face. The second event, First Book Speed Read, speed readers are challenged to read as many words as they can out loud. Every $2.50 generated places a brand new book into the hands of a child in need.     The UIowa chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha has continued their commitment to the Susan G Komen foundation by holding a 5K race for the past 10 years. With the support of the University of Iowa, UI Greek Community, local Iowa City businesses, and family and friends, ZTA raised $20,000 last year alone.   • Trick Or Treat with the Greeks Service Event

    Another all greek service event, greek chapters host a Halloween trick-or-treating event at the IMU for Iowa City children to come and participate in games and activities.
