If we were to win, the U.S.would have a good distance to launch its new B-29 bombers. This would give them a good location to be able to launch the bombers at the home islands of Japan. -

The battle was considered the bloodiest battle of the Pacific. The battle occurred because the U.S. ships invaded Japans island. -

This was the treaty that ended World War II. The war was between the entire world and it was made in Paris.
