EAHCA amended to Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) One big change from prior law is the inclusion of transition services as students transition out of high school.

IDEA now includes students with disabilities on assessments. General education teachers now included on IEP team.

2004 Reauthorization created more accountability, more focus on results/data and Intervention to keep students out of special education.
