    STS-1 was the very first flight in the space shuttle program. On this flight we had 2 astonauts which were John W. Young and Robert L. Crippen. The Point was to see if it would work like a test.

    This space shuttle mission was a discovery unlike some of the other programs. On this flight we had 5 astronauts which were Frank L. Culberston Jr., William F. Readdy, James H. Newman, Daniel W. Bursch, and Carl E. Walz. In this mission it was the first time they devolped two communication satellites.

    On this flight we had Alan Poindexter, James Dutton, Richard Mastracchio, Dorthy M. Metcalf-Lindenburger, Stephanie Wilson, Naoko Yamazaki, and Clayton Anderson. The idea was to go to the International Space Station. It was meant to go to the international space Station.
