    There are three dogs. The first dog has Five bones, the second dog has two bones and the third dog has ten bones. How many bones do the dogs have all together?

  • How do we get the total of all of the bones?

    We add them together!

  • First lets add the first two dog's bones together.

    5+2=7

  • Next lets add seven (the total of the first two dog's bones) and the last dog's bones.

    7+10=17

  • Does the amount of dogs matter?

    No! We just need the bones!
