Proposition 10 was a ballot measure on the 2018 midterms that would have repealed Costa-Hawkins, a bill that significantly restricts rent control and vacancy control. It would have opened up the way for localities to decide for themselves what kind of rent control they want. It was defeated 60-40. Ballotpedia link
