  • Burnley vs Nottingham Forest

    Before a division one match between Burnley and Nottingham Forest, a member of the "Suicide Youth Squad" attacked a 17 year old by smashing him over the head with a pint glass. As a result of his injuries the boy died and the member of the Suicide Youth Squad was later charged with murder and sentenced to seven years in custody.
  • Millwall vs Birmingham

    After a loss against Birmingham in London, Millwall fans began riots against the police. Bricks, flares and many other missiles were launched and directed at the police. Seven people were injured with another 100 police injured including 3 police horses.
  • Stoke City vs Birmingham City

    Fans from both teams attacked one another in Stoke during and after the match. The violence began as Birmingham City fans ripped down the fence that was separating them and Stoke City. An unknown number of arrests were made.
  • Norwich City vs Ipswich City

    The riot occurred in a train station in Ipswich as the hometown fans lay waiting on the platform and when a group of Norwich "hooligans" returning from an unrelated match came off the train. The Ipswich fans rampaged the Norwich fans causing 3 people to become injured and 9 men held in custody for conspiracy to cause such a violent disorder.
  • Glasgow Rangers vs Zenit Saint Petersburg

    The UEFA finals between Glasgow Rangers and Zenit Saint Petersburg were held in Manchester when a riot broke out. It was caused by the failure of a specific big screen to be set up for Glasgow Rangers fans to watch the game. The fans destroyed a bus stop, damaged a bank and bounced a car across the road while barging into police. 15 people were hurt in the incident, including police and over 40 people were arrested.
  • West Ham vs Millwall

    During the time that Millwall and West Ham played against eachother in London during the second round of the Carling Cup. Fan fighting and violent exchanges which involved many hundreds of fans broke out at Upton Park Tube Station. 13 people were arrested and a 44year old man was stabbed at the London derby game which was attended to by over 500 riot police
  • Birmingham vs Aston Villa

    After the conclusion of a Carling Cup between Birmingham City and Aston Villa in the Birmingham Stadium, a riot broke out. City fans ran onto the pitch after the game while Aston Villa fans ripped off the seats, threw flares, used CS gas (which is commonly used in riots to caused burning sensations on any part of the part that comes in contact with the gas) against the police and vandalised cars in the local car park. 5 people were arrested and 27 people sustained injuries
  • Birmingham vs Nine Aston Villa

    Birmingham and Nine Aston Villa fans were charged with violent disorder and some were put in jail after disturbances after a recent derby game where they threw bricks and bottles at police and police cars
  • Doncaster Rovers vs Leicester City

    About 35 fans fought two times on Hall Gate in the Doncaster Stadium on separate occasions and 12 men were arrested
