JFK agreed with Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev to remove the missile from Cuba in exchange for the U.S. not to invade Cuba. Communism would've spread if the situation wasn't settled.

    John F Kennedy is assassinated while traveling through Dallas, Texas. He was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald. John F Kennedy is taken to Dallas Parkland Hospital. He was pronounced dead 30 minutes later in Dallas' Parkland hospital
