  • The Dred Scott Decision

    Dred Scott was a slave in Missouri. He escaped and resided to Illinois, a free state, for 10 years. He went to Missouri, which slavery is illigal there, to file a suit for his freedom. He lost the suit and latter in court it was determined that no person of African decent can be free. This was social and political.
