    Invasion of Poland
Germany recieved Soviet Union help. Germany's control over greater territory of Europe gives them more power. High population of Jews in Poland made the aggression of Germany stronger because of Hitler’s ideology of fascism. Brought the attention of France and Britain to support Poland. Even after the nonaggression pact with Germany and Poland in 1934, this invasions proves of Hitler’s non-legitimacy with his allies.
  • Blitzkrieg Tactic

    Blitzkrieg Tactic
The efficiency of Blitzkrieg to quickly dominate the defensive forces gave Nazi Germany fast access to authority in Europe, allowing them to penetrate through rest of Europe at faster rate without many losses of troops. Not only had this tactic led Germany into success, but also the cause of failure in WW2 because of their reliance in this tactic. Due to high reliance on climate and landscape of this tactic, Germany's attempt to invade USSR failed from vast and cold weather of the territory.
  • Auschwitz Concentration Camp

    Auschwitz Concentration Camp
Auschwitz was a word use to describe main concentration/extermination camps built by Nazi Germany. Having 3 main Auschwitz camps and other sub camps in various places of Europe enabled Hitler to successfully kill mass number of Jewish population. Through gas chambers embedded in the camps, many people were killed fast and easily. Auschwitz ultimately was built for extermination of innocent people who Nazi Germany vied as a threat to their racial purity.
  • Battle of Britain

    Battle of Britain
Battle of Britain basically consisted of air battle between Britain and Germany. Germany's ability to air battle with Britain not only proved their dominance in ground but in air as well. One lead to failure of German air battle was its aggression. Aggressive attacks on British cities made the battle take place above British territory, giving British pilots who crash-landed to return to battle. Also, German military forces being further away from its mainland made them more defenseless.
  • Operation Barbarossa

    Operation Barbarossa
Named after a holy Roman Emperor, Barbarossa was an invasion of Soviet Union by Germany. Not yet finished with Battle of Britain, attack on friendly country indicates Hitler's greed for power and control. This caused Germany to fight in two fronts, east and west. Hitler's strong interest for Moscow made Stalin desperate for defense. Along with Soviet Union's troops and military vehicles, United States and Britain donated a lot of military support when Germany began to take over Soviet land.
  • Attack At Pearl Harbor

    Attack At Pearl Harbor
Japan's surprising attacks not only killed over 3500 people, it faltered the U.S naval military, leading to poor protection from possible foreign attacks. With economic ties at risk between Japan and U.S, they thoughtlessly attacked a vulnerable place just to protect any interference of U.S on their advance to middle Asia.
  • D-Day

    D-Day
The assembling of military powerful countries to invade Europe from Nazi Germany's control eventually contributed to not only ending the war and gaining back sovereignty of countries, but ending the war faster than predicted. Without the invasion on D-day, Germany would have only faced the eastern front against the Soviet Union, able to defend and counterattack with plenty of troops. Although losses were great in western front the invasion on the was a magnificent success.
  • Bombing of Dresden

    Bombing of Dresden
Bombing of Dresden was a carefully planned procedure by the efforts of several military powerful countries. It was primary done to weaken the German military, eventually ending the war faster in everyone's favour. However, the unexpected bombing killed thousands of innocent people, yet played a key role in the conclusion to the war.
  • Hitler's Suicide

    Hitler's Suicide
Hitler's suicide ultimately shows that Nazi Germany is no longer in power and no dictator is in existence to push back against the Soviet Forces. Suicide instead of death by trial or by enemy derives the fact that Hitler was aware of his defeat and the war is over, and nothing could be done in his authority to renew German strength or even protect against outside forces.
  • Dropping of the Atomic Bombs

    Dropping of the Atomic Bombs
As historians still argue to this date about the justification on dropping of the atomic bombs, the result of early end of the war is agreed upon majority of historians and citizens. Countless death of Japanese citizens was recorded as a result of the bombing, yet no American deaths were recorded from the bombing. At the time, President Harry Truman fulfilled the national interests of national security for the Americans, but not the international interests of security among all the citizens.
