The Romans used critic acids in juice to dissolve the oils in wings and used the hair follicles sealed to wash after that they used oils as conditioners.

Right before liquid shampoo was invented

Period: 1800 to 1927

In 1800's people pored hot water over ashes to create alkali potash then they boiled the potash with animal fat in iron kettles to create soap.

The first liquid shampoo was made by a German inventor Hans Schwarzkopf in Berlin
