    Henery Ford created the first affordable car in 1910. The Ford Motor Company boomed as millions of people bought cars to get around much faster. With the mass production of cars came the delevopment of roads, gas stations, and motels which opened alot of jobs. Without the Model T many cultural developments wouln't have been made.

    Joseph Stalin Rises to Power
    Joseph Stalin becomes dictaitor in Russia after the death of Lenin. He eventually became the most feared person in all of Europe. He ordered mass murders upon his citizens and people he did not like. He rivals Hitler for the most evil events to occur under their order. Once Hitler betrays their non-agression pact, He leads the Soviets against Germany. He wants to spread communism all across the world in order to have a functial world.

    A. Mitchel Palmer is determined to arrest the Communist people in the United States before they can do anything wrong. When a Communist bomber plants a bomb in Palmer's mail, he decides to raid every buisness and home until he can "purify" the United States. At the time, The Red Scare had everyone on their toes trying to protect the United States form the Soviet Communism.

    A play written in the 1920s becomes one of the biggest plays of the decade. Shuffle Along by Eubie Blake and lyricist Noble Sissle casts an all black cast advancing black civil rights.

    When Warren G. HArding was elected president of the United States, he put many of his old gang members into office with him. One of which, was Albert Falls who was an original Ohio Gang member along with Harding. Falls was bribed into letting an oil company drill on government land. He was caught when he was spending all of this mysterious money on frivilous things. He was removed from office, however, Harding wasn't involved so he was allowed to stay.

    Fascism becomes a real threat when Benito Mussolini becomes dictaitor of Italy. He believed in Fascism wich is a type of dictaitorship where one man is in control of the entire nation. He became joined together with Germany in order to get on their goodside. They began prosecuting Jews as well in order to appease Hitler. His supporters, the blackshirts, did anything he asked so his evil was spread all across Italy. He was deafeated by the U.S. early in the war.

    Al Capone guns down a rival gang in Chicago on Febuary 14, 1929. Al Capone was a gangster who terrorized Chicago during the 1920s. He was a bootlegger and mob leader who used violence to subdue his victims. On The Valentines Day Massacre, he sets a rival gang up and guns them down on a cold Febuary Day. Prohibition was in full swing, and he made his money from smuggling in liqour into the state.

    Black Tuesday is the name of the famous day which led the United States spiraling into a depression. The stock market was booming, and millions of people had invested all of their money into the market due to prosperity in the 1920s. However, the U.S. took a drastic turn on December 11, 1929 when the stock market crashed leaving millions out of a job, dirt poor, and homeless. This depression lasted 10 years. The only way we could escape the depression is by the WWII.

    All throughout the Middle East, a crippling drought sucks the life out of everything green. With all the expansion of farmland and growth, the grasses that held the dirt together was gone. Now it could fly freely without resistance. This caused immense dust storms which could in gulf cities in dust. The dust would kill anything in its way as well as bury everything in its path. The dust wasn't the only thing either. Little to no rain would fall making the drough even worse.

    Adolf Hitler comes into office as the chancellor of Germany. This is where WWII becomes a real threat. He starts to prosecute the Jewish people which begins the Holocaust. He goes against the peace treaty with Russia and invades bringing the soviets into the war. Pretty soon all of Europe enters the war. He convienced the German citizens that his beleifs were the best and only way to have a perfect race.

    In 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected president of The United States. He entered into a hard time in the United States' history; He was elected during the Great Depression which was the worst depression in U.S. history. His New Deal was his plan to fix the U.S. economy.

    Judy Garland stars in the hit movie which boosted her career to fame and fourtune, The Wizard of Oz. This movie was an instant classic since it was about escaping the real world into a fantasy land where everything is happy. This movie gave the people hope since they were in the middle of The Great Depression.

    A legend dies from an unknown diesase now called Lou Gehrig Disease. Baseball was the game watched and played by everyone in the United States. Culture was booming in the United States during the 1920s; sports was one of those booms. Out of the sports, baseball was the most popular of the sports and was enjoyed all across the nation.

    Pearl Harbor Bombed
    Japan disregards the U.S. and Japan peace treaty and attack the U.S. fleet at Pearl Harbor in Honululu, Hawaii. Luckily the most of the U.S. carriers were out at sea or else our whole navy would be wiped out. This attack was the reason the U.S. joins WWII in Europe and The Pacific.

    The invasion of France's coast by the Allies is their chance to push the Germans out of France and establish control on the mainland. Sword, Juno, Gold, Omaha, Utah were the codenames for the beaches in Normandy, France which the Allies were going to invade

    Hitler Dead
    Adolf Hitler dies from suicide with his wife, Eva Braun days before the capture of Berlin. The Russians were on the doorstep of Berlin, and Hitler was not going to let the Soviets get a hold of him, so he commited suicide with his wife on April 30, 1945. This greatly lowers the morale of the German soldiers and citizens. Now they had nothing to fight for since their leader who started all of this was dead.

    V.E. stands for Victory in Europe Day! Germany surrenders to the Allies ending the war in WW2. After 5 years and 8 months, the superpower of Germany has been defeated. Now all the U.S. has to fear is the Japanese. One down one to go.

    The Atomic Bomb is Dropped
    The Japanese won't surrender, more and more men are dying, years have passed in this war, so what do you do? The U.S. dropped the world's first atom bomb on Nagasaki using Uranium and Plutonium to create a weapon the world has never seen before. The blast obliterated the city leaving nothing standing. However, the Japanese still didn't surrender! After the second more powereful bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, the Japanese finally surrender. The war in the Pacific was over.

    Once the Soviet, Communist side of Korea invades the less defended southern U.S., free side of Korea, The United States send troops to defend the South Koreans. This event occured because of the Cold War starting.
