Second amendment

Second Amendment

  • Right To Bear Arms

    Right To Bear Arms
The second amendment clearly states that we have the right to bear arms and that that right shall not be infringed. Such was how the world went until 2008 when this issue was revisited by the U.S. Supreme court in the case of District of Columbia vs. Heller. The plaintiff in the Heller case claimed that the Washington D.C. handgun ban was unconstitutional. The court decided that the second amendment was to be upheld forgoing the Washington D.C ban.
